Let’s start by saying – 2020 and all of its madness, chaos and upheaval was NOT.YOUR.FAULT
Let’s be real – 2020 felt some or all of the following – unfulfilling, lonely, defeating, confusing, wearisome and soul crushing.
We could spend our time wallowing in the what-if’s and if-only’s of 2020, but 2021 is here and sort of flying by already!
Looking aound, the economy, social movements, and politicians will do what they do as they are bigger than us all as individuals.
Oh yeah, and the pandemic too.
The reality is, like last year, what will get us through this year is to control the stories we tell ourselves.
The stories we tell ourselves will impact the way we mother, the way we work, and the way we ultimately live this year.
The stories we tell ourselves can be random vignettes with no apparent order to them, lack of character development and plotlines changing on a whim.
Or, alternatively, our stories this year can be nestled cozy together under an overarching canopy of intention that helps us to stay grounded in a year that will likely pull the rug from underneath us many MANY times over.
How can we gain such clarity amidst all the unknowns 2021 will surely bring?
Introducing…

Join Your Word, Your Year, an interactive class for moms tired of the status quo and tired of things happening to us.
Having a word of the year is a powerful practice. It sets our intention and tone for the next year enabling us to make sense of the nonsensical and withstand unexpected blows.
Join me and other amazing moms on January 23rd at 2PM EST to discover your word for 2021.
NOTE: This will be the ONLY session for 2021 and space is limited to 5 participants.
The class is $125, and it includes the main session, a private Facebook group and a follow-up “mid-year check-in.” I can’t wait to welcome you into our circle.
Lisa’s workshop provided a space to come together with a small group of other moms and reflect on our lives and goals for the new year. It was so interesting to see the similarities and differences in our goals, challenges, and just the way we think about our lives. Lisa was compassionate, funny, insightful, and inspirational, as was the event. I hope to make it a New Year’s tradition!

Finding your word is akin to locating your North Star – something that serves as a guide, a lens, a strategy.
Your word hooks into your conscious GPS and its subconscious programming. Set your destination for 2022 and stay on course with a level head as you navigate windy roads through construction, roads blocks, accidents, and oh yes – dumpster fires.
This is NOT a “New Year, New You” class.
Let me repeat that – this is NOT a “New Year, New You” class.
“New You” implies we are reinventing ourselves – an exhaustive and dismissive process that says we weren’t good enough last year and we will be “better” this year.
I’d like to ask – “better” than what? Better than the you who tried her hardest last year during unprecedented times?
No, thanks.
This is a New Year, MORE You class.
2021 does not need a newer, “better” version of You.
2021 needs You living more as You, more comfortable in Your journey, more aware of Yourself, and plainly, more happy about You.
Wonderful class! Lisa guided us through several unique activities that allowed us to reflect and create a vision for the coming year. This class is not about New Year’s resolutions, it is about identifying a vision, wrapped in a single word, that will drive you on the path of personal growth and self-fulfillment. Thank you for sharing your gift and inspiration with us.
