Why do we use external events to dictate what to do with our life? Why do we need another milestone met before we start to pursue our dreams? Isn’t your project important enough to have its own birth date?
Why wait to go to the gym until after you can run a mile nonstop and not look weak on the treadmill? (guilty)
Why hold off starting your business until after you’ve finished those three books? (guilty)
Why put your dreams, goals and desires on the timeline of something else? (so guilty)
There is no time like the present.
There is no other goal that needs to be met before you start.
Today is your project’s birthday. Now go out there and get ’em.
A daily practice challenges the person who creates on “inspiration.” We have to mother everyday, and ultimately, it is the daily grind that gives us perspective, clarity and the “high’s” of motherhood.
