A couple of weeks ago on my weekly call with my accountability partner, I came upon the words to describe the work I want to do. I have searched for years, trying to land on something that feels congruent and encapsulates me. And as I write this entry, I feel butterflies and resistance in sharing as it still feels precious. It also feels scary because once I share it then I have to take the next steps and actually go out and do the thing.
So here goes – those words were Remarkability Coach.
As a Remarkability Coach, I shine a light on what makes someone remarkable and support them in pursuing a life where their outsides match their insides.
I find people to be utterly fascinating, magical and amazing but many times, they don’t realize it. There is a saying I read in a marketing book that says – You can’t read the label when you’re in the bottle – and that is precisely what hangs up many people in taking that next step forward. They can’t define who they are, what is remarkable about them because what others would consider amazing about them is completely normal to them. And when told that XYZ is special, they brush it off as “anyone can do that” or “there’s nothing special about that.”
Every person deserves the opportunity to light their inner spark and show their brilliance to the world – no matter their identity. I am really excited to start to help people own their remarkability.
