We entered this lifetime with complete trust.
We cried and trusted we’d be fed. We played and trusted we’d learn. We loved and trusted we’d be loved back.
But life gave us experiences that tested and broke that trust. Trust became equivalent to youthful naiveté.
But, what if we could tell ourselves a different story and teach ourselves to trust again?
Starting with recognizing those harmful moments where our trust was breached.
Then, understanding the damage they caused and feeling that loss.
After mourning what they took from us, we can regain trust by discovering what those moments offered us.
