One of my kiddos is determined. Okay, they all are determined but one is unrelenting. Once their mind is set on something, you better get on board or you’re left in the dust.
As a very accommodating and flexible person, I am challenged by this approach. And yet, like it often is with my kids, I have much to learn and gain from them.
While I often begrudgingly get on board, I am ultimately appreciative of the extra push to GSD. Usually, their pulling me into the fold means I have to sort things out on my end in order to support their mission.
My most loved people tap my buttons, like a toddler in an elevator, and I try my best to take deep breaths through the process because, while I may not know where those tapped buttons may take me, I appreciate the company along the way.
