Clutter, whether it be mental or physical, tricks us into maneuvering around it.

By definitely, clutter is not one big thing but many little things which tells our mind that there is too much to clean up and it is much less trouble and work to simply dodge it or ignore it every time we walk pass.

When we do that enough times, it becomes a habit to walk around it instead of address it. The clutters melts into our space and becomes part of it. We develop a new baseline of how much space we have and create a new level of tolerance.

Cleaning up clutter, whether it be mental or physical, is not simply the act of removing the mess but also reestablishing that baseline of how much space we have.
