In a recent group writing session, there was a prompt of – what book would you want to read again for the first time?

Someone shared that they’d like to read the Harry Potter series again. It made me think of the months I spent reading the series with my oldest, and how I was able to relive that first time through her eyes. I read the books with wonder and curiosity and asked her questions as if I’d never read them before.

While we can’t time travel and actually read or do something for the first time again, sharing an experience with someone who has never done it before is the next best thing.
