My body has a tell when its tired.

My right knee will radiate with a dull pain.

Why my right knee?

I have no idea. Perhaps I’ve overused it over the years.

It doesn’t matter so much why this is the sign. I’m just thankful that my body continues to talk to me.

Of course, I can generally tell if I’m tired by looking at how much I’ve slept, how long I’ve been on my feet, how active I’ve been and so on. But I don’t always have the awareness to check-in on myself to see if I’m tired.

I’m grateful that my body shows me. And when it does, I do my best to listen to it because if we ignore our body enough times, like anything else, it will stop talking to us.
