We are quick to dismiss when we are not consistent or when we don’t hit the goals we set to hit. We beat ourselves up and don’t even dare to share the partial wins we made along the way.

But there are lessons in our wins and losses. And we deserve to celebrate the trying and the falls as much as we celebrate the steps forward and goals met.

When a baby tries to walk and they end up falling, we don’t berate them. We say “Yay you made it so far! Keep going!”

Let’s take time to celebrate learning as much as we celebrate “achieving.” Frankly, we will learn more than we achieve but we can only achieve after we learn so let’s start recognizing those lessons and keep going.
