We instinctually want to create. We want to be contributors to our society. We want to find and practice our purpose on this beautiful planet.
And so many try to fulfill that desire or think that desire can be fulfilled through the work that we do.
Employers most certainly try to posit their companies and roles that way. And for some people, traditional jobs are fulfilling and purposeful.
But for those who don’t work with a company or who do but are still looking for more, it’s time to look within.
The first step is to understand the purpose that is calling to be fulfilled. This doesn’t necessarily mean find a new job or volunteer or travel or anything you don’t want to do. It means to do what your heart desires.
The question is – what’s calling to you to be fulfilled?
A daily practice challenges the person who creates on “inspiration.” We have to mother everyday, and ultimately, it is the daily grind that gives us perspective, clarity and the “high’s” of motherhood.
