I can’t seem to find the quote that talks about this “one true precious life” but you can imagine what it says. In fact, I’m sure there’s more than one.
But I wonder, what if life wasn’t precious? Would it make us live life differently?
What if the idea that we only get one shot at this whole thing makes us stop, freeze, second guess ourselves and not take any action at all? And then consequently not actually living fully this lifetime.
What if thinking that we had another chance at life enabled us to live this one? Would that be wrong to think? Would that discount the life that we are living in right now?
