Last week, I came across this image on Facebook and shared it. One of my friends responded and asked me “How?” I believe many people are lead by both their intuition and their traumas without realizing it. Learning the difference between how our decisions look when they are based on either is an important skill to develop! Doing so gives us healing and confidence.
If this is a new concept, definitely read through the quote on the image a few times to take in what it says.
I am excited to announce that today’s episode of All The Things is my more detailed response to my friend’s question. This topic is very near and dear to me. This is a skill I have unintentionally honed for years through learning about myself and peeling back my beliefs and traumas.
In the episode, you’ll hear a breakdown of the quote, some definitions of intuition and trauma and how they can manifest in our decision making. You will also learn how you can hone in on the ability to differentiate between the two and some simple exercises you can practice to do so.
What about you? Have you found any techniques to help you tell the difference between your intuition guiding you vs. your traumas misleading you?
A daily practice challenges the person who creates on “inspiration.” We have to mother everyday, and ultimately, it is the daily grind that gives us perspective, clarity and the “high’s” of motherhood. I am exploring if the same happens when I write everyday on the topics that normally light me up – motherhood, self-development, healing and creating.
