One can never be fully prepared to become a parent.
It doesn’t matter how many books you read, classes you take and people you talk to.
The best that anyone can do is to be prepared in not being prepared.
The same can be said about most of life.
Preparation is a way of exercising control on the unknowns of our life and control is not possible in every scenario.
A daily practice challenges the person who creates on “inspiration.” We have to mother everyday, and ultimately, it is the daily grind that gives us perspective, clarity and the “high’s” of motherhood.
