A long time ago, I saw an image floating around the interwebs of a person who is digging and quits and they are just a few more steps away from their treasure.
This idea of never quitting because you could be right there has driven me to keep going in finding what it is I want to do in this world.
Now, let’s be clear – there is real value in quitting certain things because not every step we take in the life journey is meant to be completed. So quit as much as you want.
Just don’t quit on yourself.
When I think of that image, never quitting means never quitting on the ultimate vision or goal I have in my life and being open to the tools and paths that will get me there. I have pivoted and followed my instincts. I have also taken breaks. I have taken detours and explored.
Ultimately, though, I trust and know that I will get there eventually.
