Recently, I tried to tap into God/Source/Spirit/the Universe but I felt nothing. I didn’t know how or where or what to feel.
I have been pondering it since.
In trying to figure out how I can feel an entity that doesn’t exist, my mind went to gravity. Which is in reality a theory as it cannot be proven absolutely nor disproven at this point. The theory of gravity stands because certain things happen in pattern and predictably according to this theory.
Could this be applied to Spirit? I can’t prove that it does or doesn’t exist but by treating it as a theory and finding the confirmation that it does by observing the miracles of life, can I believe it to be true?
And how do I feel it? Is feeling Spirit the same as feeling the groundedness of gravity? Or is it feeling the opposite of gravity because only a force as big as God can defy gravity? Is Source in the magic of the unseen but the tangible like birth and death, or in magical magic like synchronicities, intuition, ideas and creativity?
What does God/Source/Spirit/the Universe feel like to you?
A daily practice challenges the person who creates on “inspiration.” We have to mother everyday, and ultimately, it is the daily grind that gives us perspective, clarity and the “high’s” of motherhood. I am exploring if the same happens when I write everyday on the topics that normally light me up – motherhood, self-development, healing and creating.
