Those first days back at the gym, There is this good kind of sore.
It’s our muscles saying our hard work is paying off.
As we work out more, that soreness disappears. The reminder that we are doing good work and that our baby steps are enough disappears.
As we work out more, those baby steps no longer challenge us the way they used to.
Now, we have to take bigger steps, longer or with weights or on different terrain to experience that good kinda sore again.
When we flex our creativity muscles, the same happens. At first, any work will do. But over time, we feel understretched by the same creative work.
How can we get back to that good kinda sore?
