Art is in the eyes (or ears or fingers or mind) of the beholder.
We cannot predict or control someone’s reactions to our creations. We have no control over whether someone considers our work as “art.” (Replace “art” with whatever qualifier you use to say your work is “good.”)
We only have control over what we create and how we go about it. Ground yourself in the WHY you are creating and leave the the judgement and ranking to those who don’t know better.
A daily practice challenges the person who creates on “inspiration.” We have to mother everyday, and ultimately, it is the daily grind that gives us perspective, clarity and the “high’s” of motherhood. I am exploring if the same happens when I write everyday on the topics that normally light me up – motherhood, self-development, healing and creating.
